Dear Members,

I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve as President of the GTA Rewards Association (GTARA).

What makes this community special is the energy our members bring—and the time and effort our volunteers contribute. On behalf of the Board, thank you. We’re excited to build on the strong foundation created by those who have served before us.

This year – our 20^th - we’ll stay focused on our mission—ideas, connections, and growth—so that every interaction with GTARA delivers practical value and helps strengthen our presence across the GTA.

Ideas. 

We’ll keep bringing forward strong content—thought‑leadership sessions, practical education, and career‑building opportunities that you can put to work right away. That includes access to high‑quality learning and networking events, as well as continuing to advance the Total Rewards profession through our partnership with WorldatWork.

Connections. 

Relationships are at the heart of GTARA. We’ll continue to create ways for members to connect—through our events, ongoing information sharing, and an active, coordinated social media presence. And we’ll keep investing in the next generation of Total Rewards leaders through our Student Outreach efforts with local universities and colleges.

Growth. 

We’re committed to supporting the growth of the Total Rewards profession across the GTA by continuously improving what we offer and how we show up for members. A big part of that is volunteering – opportunities that build skills, broaden networks, and support personal and professional development while building on the organization’s 20 years of contribution. We’ll continue to post opportunities throughout the year and I encourage you to get involved.
