The GTA Rewards Association is an all-volunteer led organization. 

The association’s volunteers are passionate about advancing the total rewards profession and giving back to the community.

If you are looking for a way to give-back, meet and connect with peers, develop news skills and build experience, consider volunteering for the GTA Rewards Association.

Open Volunteer Positions

Listed below are the current open volunteer positions. To apply, reach out to the listed contact for each position.

Upon successful acceptance of a volunteer position, you will be asked to complete the Volunteer Confidentiality Agreement and Social Media Agreement forms to preserve and protect the confidentiality of our membership and association information. Should you have further questions, please ensure you ask during the recruitment process.

  • Volunteer, Social Media and Communications

    As a GTARA volunteer, there are several ways you can contribute to the Total Rewards and Human Resources community. Volunteers will:

    • Participate in diverse teams;
    • Share your expertise within and across our committees;
    • Contribute to the evolution and advancement of our profession and member community;
    • Earn professional development units.

    Key accountabilities include:

    • Contribute to writing engaging member content
    • Manage social media channels and member homepage
    • Preparing and posting content via various communication channels

    Ideal candidates are:

    • Curious
    • Collaborators
    • Problem solvers
    • A member of the GTARA or HRPA
    • Committed to participating in meetings and seeing projects through to completion

    Time Commitment

    • On average, 1-2 hours per month
